The Qantas Australian Tourism Awards were held at Sydney’s Star City Casino on the 23rd February 2007. The winners from each State and Territory Tourism Awards vie for the pinnacle in Australian tourism recognition.

Tri State Safaris were announced as winners of the 2006 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards ahead of an impressive list of finalists in the category Significant Tour and Transport Operator.

        NSW Tourism Awards

Tri State Safaris has won the Adventure Tourism category at the 2007 NSW Tourism Awards.  This is the second year in a row for Tri State, and really cements their place as worthy winners, beating an impressive list of other finalists.

Tri State now go on to the Australian Tourism Awards held in Canberra in February 2008.

NSW Tourism Awards

Tri State Safaris has won the Significant Tour and Transport Operator and Adventure Tourism categories at the prestigious 2006 NSW Tourism Awards. Minister for Tourism and Sport and Recreation , Sandra Nori said “Congratulations to Tri State Safaris on winning two NSW Tourism Awards – this is an outstanding achievement”

Entrants submit an application which is judged on their business and marketing plans, product, customer service and sustainability. Entrants are judged following a site visit by a member of the judging panel. Winners are awarded for overall business excellence. Winners in the NSW Awards go on to represent NSW in the National Awards held each February.

Inland NSW Tourism Awards

In July 2007 Tri State Safaris were announced as winners at the CountryLink Inland NSW Tourism Awards, for the third year in a row in the ‘Tour and Transport Operator’ category. Tri State Safaris also won this category in 2005 and 2006.
The awards recognise tourism operators in regional NSW for their business excellence, customer service,
innovation and passion.
